I’m sharing another fun gift today and I think it might be one of my favorite gifts yet. This gift was inspired by the wonderful office staff at my school. I wanted something I could give them to thank them for all that they do for me and all the teachers.
But now that I put this simple DIY gum bouquet together, I think everyone needs one on their desk. I know my hubby would love one of these on his desk and I definitely need one.
Do you know what makes this gum bouquet extra cool? The new Extra® 35-stick pack that I found in the checkout line at CVS.
The best part is – there is no need to take the packs of gum out of the cute vase when someone wants a piece because the pack easily flips open. How awesome is that? The new Extra® 35-stick pack features durable, recycled packaging and features more gum.
35 sticks = more than 2 packs. Woohoo! More gum means the pack lasts longer.
Never worry about running out of gum again with this fun DIY Gum Bouquet that is super easy to make.
Materials:
- vase, mug or mason jar
- 3 Extra® 35-stick packs
- shredded paper filler
- bamboo skewers
- glue gun
Directions:
Step 1: Fill vase with shredded paper filler.
Step 2: Use your glue gun to glue skewers to the back of the gum.
Step 3: Place skewers into vase. The shredded paper will hold it in place.
That’s it! A fun 3 step project that also makes a great gift.
It’s time to “Give Extra, Get Extra” with a fun gum bouquet! This would be a great gift for a teacher, your boss, secretary – pretty much anyone. And while you’re making one, you might as well go ahead and make one for yourself too. Everyone will come by you if you have a cute gum bouquet sitting on your desk. I might make one just to keep on my counter for when my neighbors come over.
So don’t forget to pick up a few packs of Extra® Gum the next time you’re shopping at CVS so you can make a few gum bouquets.
Do you always keep gum in your desk drawer? Who do you know that needs a gum bouquet?
